This month, out of 117 surveys received to date, here’s what we learned about how long it took Tripawds to recover and get back to living a good life:
How Long Was Assistance Required?
- 60 dogs needed help for 1 – 2 weeks
- 6 dogs . . . for 3 – 4 weeks
- 6 dogs . . . for more than 2 months
How Long Until Your Dog Started Feeling Good Again?
- 40 dogs felt good after 1 – 2 weeks
- 43 dogs . . . after 3 – 4 weeks
- 10 dogs . . . after 2 months or longer.
How Long Until Your Dog Started Going on Walks Again?
- 39 dogs went on walks after 1 – 2 weeks
- 30 dogs . . . after 3 – 4 weeks
- 10 dogs . . . after one month
- 7 dogs . . . after 2 months
- 6 dogs no longer went on regular walks after amputation
When Did Your Dog Start Feeling Like His/Her Old Self Again?
- 23 dogs returned to their old selves after 1 – 2 weeks
- 30 dogs . . . after 3 – 4 weeks
- 15 dogs . . . after 1 month
- 10 dogs . . . after 2 months
- 4 dogs didn’t return to their old selves
