About Dr. Dujo

Dr. Mauricio Dujowich is a board-certified surgeon with broad interests in oncologic, soft tissue, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures.

He is certified in canine rehabilitation therapy and created the Bone, Joint, and Spine center within The Veterinary Referral Center (VRCCO) in Bend, Oregon. The goal for the center is to have a much more intentional approach to orthopedics, joint replacement, spinal surgery, and rehabilitation therapy to maximize success.

Dr. Dujo earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, attended the UC Davis veterinary school, completed a three-year surgical residency at Iowa State University, and spent five years in private practice. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and is frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences on surgery, education, and research.
