Stephen originally studied to become a registered human nurse but turned to veterinary medicine when he found animals more enjoyable to work with than people. He is a Registered Veterinary Technician, a Surgical Research Anesthetist and a Registered Laboratory Animal Technician, among many other significant professional accomplishments.
